3-17-24 MEETING PRESIDENT & OTHER HOMEOWNER SAID WE HAD TO KEEP THE $6000 IN RESERVE FOR WWTP, BECAUSE IF IT STOPPED WORKING, WE WOULD BE FINED $10,000 A DAY BY STATE OF NC. THIS OR SIMILAR IS WHAT JB HAS TOLD HOMEOWNERS LAST 25 YEARS. I DO NOT THINK THIS STATEMENT IS ACCURATE. THIS SITUATION HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN 34 YEARS.
3-17-24 I BROUGHT UP INCREASING THE DUES $10 FOR PURPOSE OF SAVING FOR THE RD. I ALSO SUGGESTED TREASURER COULD TRANSFER THIS MONEY TO A SEPARATE SAVINGS ACCOUNT EARMARKED JUST FOR RD. SHE WOULD NOT AGREE TO A SEPARATE ACCOUNT. INSTEAD SHE ASKED WHY WOULD I WANT A SEPARATE ACCOUNT.
WE ALL VOTED TO INCREASE DUES BY $10 TO $160 TO SAVE TO REPAIR RD. 2 OTHER HOMEOWNERS WERE CONCERNED $10 WLD NOT GO TOWARDS RD. JB STILL WILL NOT COMMIT TO SAVING THE EXTRA $10 FOR THE RD.
I REQUESTED FINANCIAL INFO THRU MY ATTORNEY IN 2023-JB DID NOT SUPPLY COPIES OF THE BACKS OF ANY CHECKS, OR INFORMATION FOR THE YEARS 2017 OR 2023 AS REQUESTED.
CHECKS REC'D IN 2024 FROM USDA FOR JASON MOORE #124 ARE MADE PAYABLE TO
"LYNN BROOKE ASSOCIATION"-W/ NO ADDRESS INCLUDED UNDERNEATH.
JB HAS BEEN DEALING WITH LAVETTA FENTON AT USDA SINCE 2024 REGARDING LIENS AND DUES. JB SAID SHE IS EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH.
