I was very sick the first 2.5 weeks of the year. I thought I had the flu and treated myself as I always have. At about the 7th day I realized it wasn’t getting any better. I called my doctor, who agreed to see me immediately. After initial hesitation I agreed to do the quick test, which wasn’t the usual q-tip like test. The test was negative for everything. The doctor prescribed a Z-pack and Ivermectin through Walgreens, and set up an appointment for the next day to get a vitamin C infusion. Walgreens claimed they didn’t receive the script for Ivermectin. I confirmed with the doc, he sent both at the same time. He resent it to kings daughters pharmacy in Temple TX, successfully. Before I found out that Walgreens “didn’t get” my Ivermectin script I was at the drive through for an hour, told it wasn’t ready, come back in one hour. I finished my 5 min drive home and received a text that my prescription was ready. My husband went to pick it up. Meanwhile I received an automated phone call telling me the ivermectin was ready but no mention of the Z-pack. They gave my husband the z-pack and told him they didn’t get anything else. The next day I got a message that my script for ivermectin was on hold. I now have a new pharmacy called Kings Daughters pharmacy. The medication helped me get better, my doctor kept me out of the hospital. |
