| Peter Fagan Coordinator, Water & Sewer Water, Waste and Environment David E. Hughes Senior Manager, Major Projects The City of Regina is forcing smart water meters on the residents of the city even though residents with severe health problems have concerns with the radiofrequency radiation they emit. Most smart meters are designed to emit radiofrequency radiation (RFR). This is a concern because RFR is a biologically-active electromagnetic exposure that is absorbed into our bodies. Many smart meter systems generate RFR to wirelessly communicate with other smart meters and with the utility provider; each of these wireless communication networks increases the overall density of manmade pulsed RFR radiation outdoors and indoors, throughout a neighborhood. We are documenting this for future litigation against the city for medical injuries they may cause. The employees of the city have been made aware of the health problems and have been ignoring the the public concerns from residents. (Post was updated on 10-19-2026 ) |
